Carnalea comprises two Victorian buildings. The main building can accommodate 31 residents and the adjacent smaller house, which is linked, can accommodate a further 9 residents. The living environment is of a very high standard; our rooms are well appointed and comfortably furnished.

The home has a passenger lift and a stair lift in operation.

There is a call bell system throughout the home and TV points in all bedrooms and telephone lines can be installed for individual residents' upon request.

We provide a choice of menus offering nutritional home cooked meals. Individual preferences and specialist diets are catered for. We actively seek suggestions from our residents to broaden our current choice of menu. We hold a Clean Food Award for 2012.

Residents are accommodated in both single and twin rooms, some with en suite facilities. Our three delightful lounges and conservatory all lead onto our beautiful gardens.

GP's and district nurses will visit the residents, whenever required.

The hairdresser visits twice weekly and the chiropodist attends six weekly.

Visits by dentists and opticians are by appointment.

A visiting hearing-aid specialist attends the home every three months for repairs and replacement batteries.
